With all of the hype around USMNT captain Clint Dempsey's return to MLS, our friends over at Buzzfeed decided to feature the 14 reasons why it's a great time to be a soccer fan in the U.S.
And you know what? Of all 14 reasons, Quakes were featured in two.
Anyone remember Chavez's giggle fest when he danced around LA's AJ DeLaGarza?
And you couldn't have forgotten Lenny's recent 'Twerk it' goal celebration:
It's a great time to be a Quakes fan.
After all this bobblehead and cutout talk this week, we are excited to announce that the real Chris Wondolowski will be joining Jim Kozimor for Yahoo! Sports Talk Live tonight.
Clear your Friday night plans or at least set those DVRs. Tune in to CSN Bay Area at 8 p.m. PT.
Wondo and Lil' Wondo had some face time with Bay Area baseball greats, Vida Blue and Bill Laskey, earlier today.
The on-air personalities were in the Comcast SportsNet studios while Wondo made a pitstop before he headed to his #WheresWondo location in the South Bay.
While you don't win anything for finding the Wondo cutout on tv, you can still watch the duo today on CSN Bay Area for Yahoo! Sports Talk Live with Jim Kozimor at 5 p.m. PT.
We all know that Chris Wondolowski is a goal-scorer, an all-around good guy and an aspiring rapper. But I don't think people totally understand exactly how vital his gluttonous goal-scoring romp has been to the San Jose Earthquakes.
Here's a look at the MLS all-time top-five list for game-winning goals:
- Jeff Cunningham – 40 in 365 games
- Landon Donovan – 35 in 295 games
- Ante Razov – 33 in 262 games
- Jason Kreis – 31 in 305 games
- Chris Wondolowski – 30 in 162 games
On average, the top four on the list have played in about 307 games apiece. Wondo has nearly half that number of appearances, and he didn't have a single game-winning goal in his first 45 career MLS games. That means The Human Goal Magnet has racked up 30 game winners in his last 117 games – roughly one every four games.
Looking deeper into the stats, you'll find that 30 of Wondogolowski's 71 goals in San Jose have been game winners. In fact, since arriving via midseason trade from the Houston Dynamo in 2009, he's has netted the winner in 30 of the Earthquakes' 53 victories.
Efficient. Clutch. The next American Idol. Vote Wondo for President of the United States come 2016.

Thanks to this week's #WheresWondo contest, we have a new move for all of our fans to try.
The Wondo. Wondo-ing. Kinda like Tebowing but better.
Stay tuned for tomorrow's #WheresWondo clue for a chance to try out Wondo-ing yourself.
In the meantime, check out all of our entries so far. They're pretty hysterical.

Sporting Kansas City got all cute-like before the big match on Sunday; trying to ruffle our feathers a bit before they come into town.
Too bad it didn't work.
Easy math, people. 2 > 1. Also translated to... two MLS Cups are greater than one MLS Cup.
See ya on Sunday, Sporting. Maybe we'll save a Wondo Bobblehead for you.
