Huckerby's most memorable moment in a Quakes jersey? He says it's beating LA Galaxy 3-2.
We can't disagree with that.

This week was a pretty crazy one for the Quakes. We have you covered, though. We broke down the top 5 headlines you may have missed:
1. Quakes making moves: the club acquires Salvadoran national team midfielder Jaime Alas on loan.
2. Alan Gordon is headed to Gold Cup: Jurgen Klinsmann called in the Quakes striker to USMNT camp ahead of quarterfinals against El Salvador.
3. Our favorite Darren Huckerby will be in the audience on Saturday to watch his two clubs battle. Will you? Catch his Q&A with SJEarthquakes.com.
4. Wine and Dine with the Quakes. Yes, you heard that right. You can enjoy fine wine, delicious food and good company on July 28 at Guglielmo Winery. Click here for more details.

You can still purchase tickets to the Quakes friendly vs. EPL-side Norwich City FC at Buck Shaw on Saturday. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. PT, and a livestream will be available on SJEarthquakes.com.
In honor of one of our favorite Englishmen coming back to the Bay to see both of his clubs face off against one another, we dusted this gem off from the archives.
So, what's a Huckerby? Watch and find out. And join Hucks at Buck Shaw this weekend when the Quakes take on Norwich City FC.
Life is good for the U.S. Men's National team as they power through, undefeated in the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Chris Wondolowski shone particularly bright last week when he bagged four goals in two matches. The new week of the tournament has brought fresh success for newly-acquired Quake Clarence Goodson. The defender earned flattering reviews for his performance in last night's 1-0 victory over Costa Rica.
ESPN's Jeff Carlisle gave Goodson an eight- the highest score of the players- for keeping the U.S. organized and posing a threat on set pieces.
The New York Times named Goodson the Man of the Match and gifted him with a solid 7 rating, calling him "extremely confident and dominant defensively."
The U.S. Men's National Team will next face El Salvador in the Quarterfinals at 1 p.m. PT on Sunday in Baltimore.

Will Wondo make USMNT history again tonight?
Time will tell. Klinsmann's squad rounds out Gold Cup play tonight in Connecticut against Costa Rica.
If Wondo scores another brace, he will become the first player in a US jersey to ever score more than 2 goals in 3 consecutive matches.
Watch the match tonight on Fox Soccer. Kickoff is at 5 p.m. PT.

According to Elias Sports Bureau, Wondolowski became the first player in USMNT history to record back-to-back multiple goal games in one tournament. Wondo's hat-trick against Belize and his second-half brace versus Cuba set the record, and he could break one more.
If Wondo scores two against Costa Rica in the USMNT's final match of Gold Cup group play on Tuesday, he will again be the only player in USMNT history to score two or more goals in each of three straight matches for the US squad.
See if Wondo can make history again - tune in to Fox Soccer on Tuesday at 5 p.m. PT for USAvCRC.
