On Saturday, October 4 the Quakes host Portland Timbers at 8:00 p.m. PT.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness, Stanford Cancer Center is giving away pink rally towels to the first 25,000 fans. Goal nets and corner flags will be pink and players will wear pink wrist bands. Goalkeeper Jon Busch will be wearing a pink uniform as well as pink gloves.
T-Mobile will also be pinking out section 107 with cheer cards.

On Tuesday, the San Jose Earthquakes Academy got to hang out at our New Stadium with Quakes player and former Earthquakes Academy star Tommy Thompson. The club's first-ever Homegrown player talked about the importance of playing in a professional environment, the difference in college and the professional game and how he looks up to Wondo.

In a partnership with BMW, Yannick Djalo will be at Weatherford BMW in Berkeley on Friday, October 3 from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Fans can come for photos and autographs and receive ticket vouchers that can be used for the 10/14 or 10/18 matches.

Former Earthquakes goalkeeper and currect Earthquakes announcer, Joe Cannon, visited Willow Glen High School on Thursday as part of the Quakes and the University of California's partnership to promote the importance of a college education.
Cannon, a Los Altos native, talked to the College and Career Center at the high school about how it's never too early to start planning for college and how the University of California system can be for everyone.

Congratulations to our affiliate, Sacramento Republic FC, for advancing to the USL Pro finals!
On Saturday, Sacramento Republic FC faced LA Galaxy II in the semifinals. Thanks to Charlie Rugg, the Galaxy led 2-0 to end the first half. Quakes forward Adam Jahn who is on loan to Republic FC played the first 45 minutes.
Republic FC came out in the second half fighting – and it paid off. After two converted penalty kicks from Rodrigo Lopez, the match was knotted at 2-2 going into stoppage time. Lopez completed the comeback and finished off his hat trick by bending a free kick around the Galaxy’s wall into the back of the net. After the 3-2 win, Republic FC will advance to the USL Pro Championship, hosting Harrisburg City Islanders on Saturday, September 27 at 7:30 p.m.
