Wondo's warm welcome back included fans waiting around SFO for his arrival. We sure did miss this guy (and baby Emersyn, too).

Alright, Quakes fans - on the eve of the 2014 California Clasico, we can't help but think of our time at Stanford Stadium last year. You all remember it, that stoppage time goal by Gordo that left us celebrating until we couldn't scream anymore.
We thought we'd relive that moment through your creative captions! Put your witty-ness to the test with this fantastic goal that left Gonzalez and the rest of the Galaxy stunned (or is he smiling?).

And tell your friends tickets are still available to this match of the summer! Let's pack the place and #BeatLA.

1. Massive style points to Bernardez and Los Catrachos - those blazers are sliiiick.
2. The World Cup starts in 2 days. TWO DAYS.
With seven days left before the United States' first match in Brazil, U.S. Soccer has released a compilation of 23 feature videos called “One Nation One Team. 23 Stories.” This video series provides personal vignettes showcasing each player’s off-the-field personality and individual experiences that have shaped them into the players and men they have become today. Follow Quakes own Chris Wondolowski and the rest of the U.S. Men’s National team throughout the tournament with U.S. Soccer!
Proven goal-scoring machine and now Cosmopolitan Magazine eye-candy? Hey, Chris Wondolowski can do it all.
The Danville native and U.S. Men’s National Team forward graced the latest issue of Cosmo with other USMNT and MLS stars Graham Zusi, Matt Besler, Omar Gonzalez and Kyle Beckerman. The five posed for the magazine’s feature on the World Cup, highlighting the best styles to wear while you watch. While the four were shirtless, of course – I mean, this is Cosmo were talking about – they did rock their World Cup style, donning the USMNT new World Cup kit’s shorts and socks.
Wondo wasn’t only featured shirtless this week, either. You can the Quakes striker in Rolling Stone's latest USMNT interview. Wondo talks his great affinity for all kinds of pizza, Jay-Z, his deep superstitions and more. Be sure to check out the full article here.
With only 4 days until the World Cup begins, the buzz is alive and well. Join the Quakes at our first official World Cup viewing party on Saturday in St. James Park.
Somewhere in Jacksonville, Harry Nilsson’s classic track “Best Friend” is playing over a passing drill between Chris Wondolowski and Brad Davis.
A bromance has rekindled in the build up to Brazil as the two best friends and United States teammates continue their preparation for a June 16 bout against Ghana in the 2014 World Cup.
Wondolowski and Davis were teammates with the San Jose Earthquakes in 2005 and with the Dynamo from 2006-09. Both stars in Major League Soccer, Wondolowski and Davis were invited to the 30-man U.S. National team camp in Palo Alto and later added to the 23-man World Cup roster on May 22. Just days after punching their ticket to Brazil, both shared a sideline suite with their families at Buck Shaw Stadium for a game between the Quakes and the Dynamo.
Talk about a bonding experience.
According to Fox Sports, both vacation together with their families in the offseason with Mexico as a typical destination.
The annual Wondolowski and Davis family vacation will take its next stop in Brazil as the two get set to represent their country at the world’s biggest stage. Instead of stepping onto the Mexican coast, Wondolowski and Davis will be stepping onto the pitch for their country, the most memorable “vacation” yet for these two best friends.
