Does the club have open tryouts?
The club hosts an open tryout each January. Keep an eye out for registration dates and forms by visiting www.sjearthquakes.com as well as the club's official Twitter and Facebook pages. We kindly ask that you do not contact the Front Office regarding an open-tryout request, or any possible future events until the next tryout date is officially announced by the San Jose Earthquakes.

Can my child play in the Earthquakes Youth Academy?
The Earthquakes Youth Academy holds a tryout during the summer each offseason that players can be invited to participate in. Additionally, the technical staff offers players the chance to "trial" with the squad during the season. In order to be considered, parents should email their child's resume as well as soccer references to fwilson@sjearthquakes.com.

How do I apply for a job with the Earthquakes and how do I look for job openings?

What is the price of a children's ticket?
Children under 2 years old are free. There is not discount for children older than 2.

Is the office open on the weekends?
The office is not open on weekends; an operator is regularly available starting after 12 p.m. on game days if hosted at Buck Shaw Stadium, otherwise call the Fan Services line at: 408-827-1FAN (1326)

If I cannot make it to a home game, can I return my ticket(s)? How can I return my ticket(s)?
In 2011, the San Jose Earthquakes introduced the Ticket Exchange Program exclusively for our season ticket holders.  All tickets that are returned will be credited to the account of whom the tickets were originally purchased. Returned tickets cannot be exchanged for cash and can only be applied to tickets in the 2013 home-schedule. All credit must be applied to any home game by the end of the 2013 MLS regular season. 

Tickets for game(s) that you are unable to be attended must be sent to the Front Office and the transaction must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the match (unless announced otherwise) in order for the exchange to be valid. Tickets can be mailed, scanned then faxed or emailed to Fan Relations with the barcode cut or torn, or dropped off to the Front Office at: 451 El Camino Real, Suite 220, Santa Clara, CA 95050.

How can I turn in unused tickets for Unused Ticket Nights?
Tickets for past games that were not returned for a ticket credit can be redeemed for tickets to Earthquakes Unused Ticket Nights. Unused tickets can be mailed or dropped off to the Front Office at 451 El Camino Real, Suite 220, Santa Clara, CA 95050, Attn: Fan Relations. Please note, unused tickets cannot be emailed or faxed.

Do the Earthquakes have youth clinics or camps?
The Earthquakes hold soccer clinics infrequently during the season. Fans should keep an eye out on www.sjearthquakes.com as well as on the club's official Facebook and Twitter pages for potential clinic dates. Additionally, the club offers EQ Development Schools (click for more info).

Where do I redeem my KFC ticket vouchers?
All “KFC Colonel Corner” ticket vouchers can be redeemed at either the Front Office during our regular business hours M-F or at the Box Office at Buck Shaw Stadium the day of a home game. The ticket Box Office is located at Entry Gate A at Buck Shaw Stadium. Vouchers can be purchased at a discounted price* at participating Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurants in the South Bay. Vouchers are redeemable for 2011 Regular-Season MLS Home Games Only. Vouchers cannot be redeemed over the phone and cannot be scanned as an entry ticket.

Why do I have to walk around to the back walkway at Buck Shaw Stadium on game days?
The Earthquakes respect all fan’s ability to cheer on their team and have the least obstructed view as possible; additionally ADA requires a clear walkway at all times for handicap persons

Do the Earthquakes have any birthday party ticket packages?
The Earthquakes do provide ticket packages for birthday groups and parties for most home games. For more information, please call (408)-556-7700.

My son/daughter would like to participate in a pre-game event. How can I sign them up?

Are there any venues that sell Earthquakes tickets?
Single game tickets for all 2011 San Jose Earthquakes games can be purchased at our Front Office. Tickets can also be purchased at the Box Office of Buck Shaw Stadium on game dates. Also, a select number of ticket vouchers can be purchased at the location of any of our small business partners listed below. Ticket vouchers can be redeemed at either the Front Office during our regular business hours M-F or at the Box Office at Buck Shaw Stadium the day of a home game. For season tickets, mini-plans or groups tickets, please call the Front Office at (408)-556-7700.

Are umbrellas allowed at Buck Shaw Stadium during Earthquakes games?
In order to allow all fans have an unobstructed view of the field, umbrellas are not allowed through the gates on game day. However, fans are welcome to bring ponchos or other rain gear that does not hinder views of the field.

Is outside food or drink allowed inside Buck Shaw Stadium?
Each fan can bring one sealed bottle of water into Buck Shaw Stadium, but no other food or beverage is allowed.

Is tailgating allowed in all lots?
No. The Earthquakes have designated Lot 4 for tailgating.
