Q:             Where will my seats be at Stanford Stadium?
A:             We’ve made every effort to seat you in a location at Stanford Stadium that is as comparable to your Buck Shaw seating location and category as possible.  A section conversion chart is shown below.  You can also refer to our Online Seating Map.

Q:             When will I know where my seats are?
A:             Your tickets for the June 28 match have already been issued to you and can be found on the third page of tickets in your season ticket booklets.  Your seat location will be displayed at the bottom of your Game 8 ticket. If your season tickets did not arrive in booklet form, please refer to your tickets dated June 28, 2014 for your seat location. If you did not receive or cannot locate your tickets for the June 28 match, please email or call your Fan Relations Specialist at 408.556.7700, option 2 as soon as possible.

Q:             Will I be entitled to purchase additional tickets at my Season Ticket Holder rate?
A:             Yes.  For this match, you are able to purchase up to nine additional tickets at your Season Ticket Holder rate.* Tickets for groups of 10 or more will be sold at the current group rate. To purchase additional tickets, please email or call your Fan Relations Specialist at 408.556.7700, option  *Per Earthquakes Season Ticket Holder account

Q:             How can I get seats next to my season seats?
A:             Please email or call your Fan Relations Specialist at 408.556.7700, option 2 as soon as possible so that s/he can locate the correct number of seats for your entire party.

Q:             When will the tickets be mailed?
A:             Unlike past seasons, your tickets for the June 28 match have already been issued to you and can be found on the third page of tickets in your season ticket booklet.   If your season tickets did not arrive in booklet form, please refer to your tickets dated June 28, 2014 for your seat location. If you did not receive or cannot locate your tickets for the June 28 match, please email or call your Fan Relations Specialist at 408.556.7700, option 2 as soon as possible.

Q:             Can I purchase tickets on the day of the game?
A:             We are planning to be sold out for this match well in advance; however, if tickets are available, all sales on the day of the game will be based on availability.

Q:             What if I can’t use my tickets to the Stanford Stadium game – can I exchange them or turn them in later for Unused Ticket Night?
A:             Yes.  If you wish to exchange your June 28th tickets for another match, you must do so before 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26thClick here for more information on how to exchange your tickets.

In the event that you are not able to attend the match at Stanford Stadium and/or your tickets are not returned on or before the June 26th exchange deadline, you will be able to redeem your unused tickets for seats within the Center Circle, Sideline, Goal View or Supporters sections for the match vs. Chicago Fire on July 23, which is our final Unused Ticket Night of 2014.

Please note: Because the March 15th deadline to exchange tickets from other matches into the game on June 28th has passed, exchanges into this year’s game vs. LA Galaxy are no longer being accepted.

Q:             What if I want to make a last minute exchange?
A:             All exchanges of tickets for the June 28th match must be completed by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26th.   Please email or call your Fan Relations Specialist at 408.556.7700, option 2 for all ticket exchanges.            

 If your exchange is not completed by 5:00 p.m. on June 26th, please contact your Fan Relations Specialist to make arrangements to use your tickets on Wednesday, July 23, which is our final Unused Ticket Night of 2014.

STADIUM FAQs

Q: What time is kickoff for this match?
A: Kickoff will be at 7:30 p.m. PT.

Q: What time will gates open?
A: Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. PT.

Q: What time will the Box Office open?
A: The Box Office near Gates 1 & 2 will open at 1:30 p.m.; all other Box Office locations will open at 4:00 p.m.

Q: What time will Will Call open?
A: Will Call will open at 4:30 p.m. PT

Q: What time will the pre-game activities begin?
A: The Epicenter, which will feature a number of Earthquakes activities including inflatables, face painting, vendor tents, live music, and more, will be opening at 4:00 p.m.   This area will be outside of Stanford Stadium, so your game ticket will not be necessary.

Q: What time will the halftime activities entail?
A: During halftime of this match, we will be having a Salute to the Armed Forces Halftime Show with all branches of the United States military participating!

Q: Will re-entry be allowed?  
A: Patrons are allowed to exit and re-enter Stanford Stadium until the 60th minute (approximately 9:00 p.m.). Patrons must have their hand STAMPED with a ripped ticket to re-enter the stadium. Patrons can get their hand stamped by a security guard at the gate as they exit. 

Q: Can I bring any food or beverages into Stanford Stadium with me?
A: A sealed water bottle (in 20 oz. or smaller) is permitted.  

Q: Where can we tailgate?
A: Guests may tailgate in all parking lots except Lot 1. Guests must confine their tailgating to the space occupied by their vehicle. No adjacent spaces will be available for tailgating. Only charcoal BBQs are permitted and must be placed in an accessible area (i.e., not blocked by vehicle). For fire safety, please drench your coals and dispose of them in designated metallic containers.

Q: Is alcohol allowed at the tailgate?
A: Yes – alcohol will be allowed at tailgates; however, no alcoholic beverages may be brought into Stanford Stadium.  Additionally, alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase pre-game in the Epicenter.  

Q: What items are prohibited at Stanford Stadium?
A: All of the following items are prohibited at Stanford Stadium:

  • Alcoholic Beverages
  • Animals (except service animals)
  • Balls & Frisbees
  • Bicycles, rollerblades and skateboards
  • Cans, glass containers and thermos bottles
  • Backpacks, bags, purses and coolers larger than 12"x12"x15”
  • Fireworks, flares and smoke devices
  • Strollers and lawn furniture
  • Plastic containers (larger than 20 oz or unsealed)
  • Poles or sticks
  • Signs with inappropriate language or messages
  • Horns and any artificial noisemakers
  • Weapons and firearms
  • Umbrellas (opened in stands)
  • Whole fruit

 

CONCESSION FAQs

 

Q: Will the concession stands accept credit cards?  
A: No.  All concession stands at Stanford Stadium are CASH ONLY.  For your convenience, ATMs will be located throughout the stadium. 

Q: Will there be any food trucks at Stanford Stadium?
A: Yes.  We are planning for a total of six food trucks to be present at the June 28th match.  Details on each of the six food trucks will be available soon.

Q: Will alcoholic beverages be sold at Stanford Stadium?
A: While alcoholic beverages will not be sold inside Stanford Stadium, they will be available for sale pre-game in the Epicenter.

 

PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION FAQs

 

Q: Where should I park?

A: If you have a VIP, Lot 1, Lot 2, or Lot 4 Parking Pass for Buck Shaw Stadium, you will be able to park in Lot 2 beginning at 2:00 p.m.*

                  Please note: Lot 2 will be reserved for Season Ticket Holders who have purchased a full season Buck Shaw Stadium parking pass.  If Lot 2 is full upon your arrival to Stanford Stadium, your Parking Pass will still be valid; however, you will be directed to park in the next available lot.

General parking will be available in Lot 3, Lot 7/8, Lot 9, Lot 10, and Lot 13 at a cost of $20 per car.  Oversized vehicles or vehicles larger than two-axle ones will be $30.

Paid parking on the day of the match will be cash only – credit cards will not be accepted

Q: I have a full season parking pass for the games at Buck Shaw – which pass should I use?

A: Yes.  

All Buck Shaw Stadium Parking Pass booklets contain a parking pass for Lot 2 at Stanford Stadium.  The pass is black in color and has the game date of June 28, 2014 shown below the perforation.

                  Please note: Lot 2 will be reserved for Season Ticket Holders who have purchased Buck Shaw Stadium parking passes.  If Lot 2 is full upon your arrival to Stanford Stadium, your Parking Pass will still be valid; however, you will be directed to park in the next available lot.

 

Q: Can I use public transportation to get to Stanford Stadium? 
A: Yes. It is highly encouraged. 

Throughout the day on June 28th, CalTrain will be making its regularly scheduled stop at the Palo Alto station, which is a 10-15 minute walk from Stanford Stadium.  The full weekend timetable is available here.

Additionally, CalTrain will be stopping its local trains at the Stanford Stadium station on June 29th before and after the match. 

Please also note that the Stanford Stadium station does not have a ticket vending machine, nor does it have a Clipper Card interface.

Q: I’m driving to the match – what is the best route for me to take?

A:

From Highway 280 South 

  • Exit Sand Hill Road
  • Turn Left onto Sand Hill Road
  • Turn Right onto El Camino Real 

From Highway 280 North

  • Exit Page Mill Road
  • Stay Right at fork at bottom of ramp
  • Turn Left onto El Camino Real

Q: Where will disabled parking be located?

A: Disabled parking will be located in the Sunken Diamond Lot beginning at 2:00 p.m.  If all available spaces in that lot are full upon your arrival to Stanford Stadium, additional disabled parking will be made available in Lot H.

                  An ADA placard will be required to access disabled parking in either the Sunken Diamond Lot or Lot H.

 

MISCELLANEOUS FAQs

Q: Where should I be for the post-game fireworks?
A: The post-game fireworks display can be properly viewed from the East Side of Stanford Stadium.  

If your seats are located on the West Side of Stanford Stadium, you will have 10 minutes between the final whistle and the start of the fireworks to move to any of the following areas to view the fireworks:

  • The Upper Deck Endzones (behind sections 203 or 223)
  • Designated areas behind the stands
  • Designated areas on the lower concourse
  • Designated areas outside of Stanford Stadium 

Q: What time will the fireworks begin?
A: The fireworks will begin 10 minutes after the final whistle.

Q: I am a NetSuite On-Field Seatholder – will I still be entitled to a pre-game meal?
A: Yes. All NetSuite VIP On-Field Seatholders will be entitled to pre-game beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the Epicenter.

Q: Will the Fan Relations Hotline be available at Stanford Stadium?
