Quakes looking for first win at Qwest Field

Having put an end to their four-game winless streak, Seattle Sounders FC will try to cool off the San Jose Earthquakes when the clubs meet Saturday afternoon at Qwest Field. Sounders FC are a point behind the Earthquakes in the Western Conference after their 1-0 win at New York last weekend; the Quakes have just one loss in their six games and haven’t allowed a goal in the last three.

Seattle Sounders FC put the skids on a four-game winless streak, getting
a late goal for a 1-0 victory at the New York Red Bulls on Saturday
evening. Sounders FC are in sixth place in the Western Conference with
12 points from 8 games.

The San Jose Earthquakes maintained their good run of form, going to
Gillette Stadium and coming away with a scoreless draw with the New
England Revolution. The Quakes are in a four-way for second place in the
Western Conference with 13 points from 7 games.
