San Jose tried to knock off league-leading LA Galaxy at the Home Depot Center

The San Jose Earthquakes will travel to the Home Depot Center to face MLS leading Los Angeles Galaxy on Thursday. The match will be televised nationally on ESPN2 with JP Dellacamera and John Harkes in the booth.

The Quakes are coming off a scoreless draw with club partner Tottenham Hotspur of the English Premier League. San Jose is fifth in the Western Conference with 22 points from 14 games. The Los Angeles Galaxy lead the league with 39 points from 17 games. Former Earthquake player and US World Cup icon Landon Donovan expects to suit up for the Galaxy.
