The San Jose Earthquakes dropped a 2-0 result at Red Bull Arena on Saturday. New York was too much for a Quakes team that saw several quality scoring chances, but couldn't convert.
Dane Richards opened the scoring with a nifty move up the middle of the field during stoppage time in the first half. Thierry Henry added on with a finish inside the box after a well-placed cross by Richards.
