It's been a while since the Quakes earned a playoff berth. In fact, you'd have to look back to the 2005 season—the last before their two-year hiatus—to witness San Jose playing some postseason soccer. But things are changing in Northern California. The club has signed their first-ever DP in Geovanni, and the team is coming off a statement victory over California neighbors—and the league leading—LA Galaxy.
