Quakes heap praise for Wondo's 27 goals
Chris Wondolowski's 24th minute penalty kick against the Portland Timbers on Saturday, Oct. 27 cemented himself as one of the most lethal finishers in Major League Soccer history. The spot kick marked his 27th goal of the season, tying him with Roy Lassiter's 16 year record set in the inaugural MLS season. Current and former Quakes players went to twitter to pass on their congratulations to the predatory, in-form striker.
What an amazing accomplishment by Wondo! Blessed to be apart of this team and congrats to #8! @chriswondo@sjearthquakes
