Quakes react on Twitter to Sunday's WCSF first leg win
Victor Bernardez's 94th minute game-winning free kick gave the Earthquakes the 1-0 victory over the LA Galaxy in the first leg of the Western Conference Semifinals, presented by Kaiser Permanente.
After Simon Dawkins got fouled deep into stoppage time, the imposing Honduran, Victor Bernardez, lined up the free kick. His low, powerful shot snuck underneath the LA Galaxy wall and into the net to give the Quakes the crucial away win. Quakes players took to Twitter to share their excitement.
