Quakes match vs. Sporting KC on August 18 moved to 7 p.m. PT

Quakes return to Buck Shaw to host Sporting KC on Aug. 18
SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes have moved kickoff for their home match against Sporting Kansas City on Sunday, Aug. 18 to 7 p.m. PT, one hour earlier than previously scheduled. The match will air nationally on Univision Deportes Network.
 
Tickets already printed and distributed for the match will still be valid, but holders should note the time change.
 
The Earthquakes (7-9-6, 27 pts.) are aiming to earn a second-consecutive trip to the MLS Cup Playoffs. They are currently five points out of the fifth and final postseason spot with 12 regular season games remaining. Meanwhile, Sporting Kansas City (10-6-6, 36 pts.) paces the Eastern Conference by one point and is one behind Real Salt Lake (11-7-4, 37 pts.) in the Supporters’ Shield race.
