The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that 500 standing-room only tickets are being put on sale for the Saturday, Aug. 21 match against the LA Galaxy at 1 p.m. PT at Buck Shaw Stadium. Tickets will be available at 1 p.m. PT for $20 each and can be purchased through www.tickets.com, by calling the Earthquakes front office at 408-556-7700, or by coming into the Earthquakes offices, which are located at 451 El Camino Real Suite 220. A limited number of tickets are still available.
The game will be broadcast live on Comcast SportsNet California and Telefutura and can be heard on the radio in English on 1220 KDOW and in Spanish on 1370 KZSF.
The Earthquakes and Galaxy met earlier this season on Thursday, July 22 at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. The Earthquakes battled the Galaxy to a 2-2 draw with goals from midfielders Bobby Convey and Brandon McDonald. Former Earthquakes player Landon Donovan scored the equalizer in stoppage time.
