Ramiro Corrales and Jason Hernandez are out of action this weekend, which leaves a vacancy for the San Jose Earthquakes captaincy.

Who gets your vote to wear the armband this week? There are plenty of strong candidates in the mix.

Bobby Convey is having a career year, was selected to the MLS All-Star squad and has been a driving force in San Jose's midfield. Despite a sudden move to left back due to Corrales' injury, Convey has accepted the role. Convey's hustle is also evident - his motor never stops and the work rate is top notch.

Jon Busch is a savvy and vocal veteran slated to be San Jose's starting goalkeeper for the remainder of the season due to Joe Cannon's fractured ankle.

Chris Wondolowski is a fan favorite and the leading goal scorer for San Jose. Wondo is a lead-by-example type with his high work rate on the pitch and ferocious competitiveness.

Brandon McDonald is an enforcer in San Jose's defensive third and isn't afraid to step up and voice his opinion amongst teammates.

Bobby Burling has an easy-going demeanor, but his physicality on defense has made him an integral piece of the San Jose back line.
