The Quakes are currently holding on to the final wild card spot, after coming away from Houston with a 2-1 win last weekend. FC Dallas is close to the top of the overall standings, riding a league-record 10-game road unbeaten streak and having a 13-game undefeated run overall after last weekend’s win against Toronto.
The Quakes are riding a two-match home winning streak - a pair of 1-0 results over the Kansas City Wizards and Los Angeles Galaxy. San Jose has won three of its last four and hopes to defend Buck Shaw Stadium against the hottest team in MLS on Saturday.
