I know, we had you at beer, but here's the top-seven reasons to be at Buck Shaw Stadium Wednesday night when the Quakes take aim at Win Pin No. 7 against the Chicago Fire.
1. We're talkin' about playoffs
Chicago and San Jose are on the opposite end of the post-season spectrum. While the Fire are emblematic of former NFL head coach Jim Mora's legendary sound bite - "Playoffs? Don't talk about playoffs! Playoffs? I just hope we can win a game!" - the Quakes are inching closer to securing their first playoff berth since rejoining MLS in 2008. Playoffs? Quakes fans are definitely talking about playoffs.
2. Ronald Cerritos Hall of Fame Induction
The Salvadoran sensation is the all-time leading scorer
in Quakes history and will be inducted into the team's Hall of Fame
Wednesday night. Any true Quakes fan should want to see this historic
event.
3. Wondo for MVP
He's a Bay Area native, he's one of the MLS leaders in goals and he's rockin' the best tan in the league. Life is good for Chris Wondolowski. A few more Wondo-golazos and the MVP whispers will grow louder.
4. Fiesta Latina

This deserves its own mention. Discounted beer? 'Nuff said.
6. The California Heat Wave

Quakes fans loved to boo the Swedish midfielder when he played for Seattle and now they get a chance to recycle those anti-Ljungberg signs/chants.
