It’s time to test Quakes fans’ detective skills with the 2010 San Jose Earthquakes Golden Ball Hunt.
We’re hiding 19 soccer balls around the South Bay Area and San Francisco this weekend plus one Golden Ball that can be found only on Thursday, October 28 at 7 p.m.
Each regular ball can be redeemed at the Quakes Front Office in Santa Clara for two free playoff tickets.
The Golden Ball winner will win a Quakes Playoff VIP experience: two on-field seats to the game, two Quakes playoff scarves, a limo ride to and from the game, dinner and an overnight stay at the Fairmont Hotel.
Clues for the Golden Ball will be given out each day beginning on Wednesday, October 20 via Mix 106.5 and the Quakes Twitter and Facebook accounts. One additional clue will be released to members of Mix 106.5’s All Access Club.
For the final clue on the whereabouts of the Golden Ball (Hint: A highly important one!), fans must text “GOLDEN” to 77007 before Wednesday, October 27.
