Chris Wondolowski's 2010 campaign got three times better Wednesday night against Chivas USA. The MVP candidate helped his cause with a hat trick, setting a franchise record for goals in a season and tying Edson Buddle for the MLS lead in the process.
Heading into the final weekend of MLS play, Wondolowski is tied with Buddle for the Golden Boot with 17 goals. Wondo has also amassed MVP credentials with his nine game winners, a brace to clinch San Jose's playoff berth and a pair of hat tricks. Wondo has also scored San Jose's last nine goals.
