San Jose's offense exploded in a 4-2 win against D.C. United on Saturday at RFK Stadium, much thanks to striker Steven Lenhart who recorded the fifth hat trick in franchise history.
Lenhart's collective effort is up for this week's Amway Positive Play of the Game. Lenhart tallied in the 15th, 22nd and 60th minutes and assisted on the Quakes' third goal.
Also nominated this week is British attacker Simon Dawkins after scoring his second goal in as many games, also his fourth career MLS goal. Dawkins had some nifty footwork to create the chance before hammering home a well-placed pass by Lenhart.
