The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. PT and will air live on Comcast SportsNet California, 1220 KDOW and 1370 KZSF. Fans can pick up a National Hispanic University sack pack at any gate (limit: 2,500) before kickoff.

The San Jose Earthquakes earned a draw against the Colorado Rapids at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park as forward Chris Wondolowski provided the offensive output for San Jose in a 1-1 result. Wondolowski finished off the rebound from a Khari Stephenson shot in the 19th minute to put the Rapids on their heels. After a series of acrobatic saves by Earthquakes goalkeeper Jon Busch, Drew Moor leveled the game for Colorado in the 71st minute by tapping home a loose ball from a yard out on a broken corner kick.

The San Jose Earthquakes fell 1-0 to Sporting Kansas City at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park, snapping a six-game unbeaten streak. C.J. Sapong scored the only goal of the match, re-directing a free kick from Graham Zusi in the 31st minute.


History of the Quakes – Sporting Kansas City Rivalry
The Earthquakes own a 20-19-6 record all-time against Sporting Kansas City … The first game the two teams played against one another was a thriller on Apr. 21 in 2006 at Spartan Stadium. With the game tied 2-2 at the end of regulation, the Earthquakes fell in a shootout by a score of 8-7 … San Jose’s first win against Kansas City came later that season, a 2-1 victory at Spartan Stadium on May 29 … The Earthquakes and Sporting Kansas City, formerly known as the Kansas City Wizards, have faced each other in three games in the playoffs. The first game came on Nov. 15 during the 2003 season at Spartan Stadium, a 3-2 win for the Earthquakes in overtime. The two teams met again in the postseason the following season in 2004 for two games. The Earthquakes won the first game 2-0 on Oct. 24 at Spartan Stadium, while the Wizards won 3-0 on Oct. 30 at Arrowhead Stadium … Chris Wondolowski scored the goal that sealed his Golden Boot on Oct. 23, 2010 against Sporting Kansas City, his 18th of the season … The Earthquakes played in the second-ever MLS match at Sporting Kansas City’s new stadium, LIVESTRONG Sporting Park, on June 17, 2011.
