Quakes to host Opening Day match on March 10

SAN JOSE, Calif. – For the fourth consecutive season, the San Jose Earthquakes will open their season at home the club announced on Tuesday. The match will be played on March 10 at Buck Shaw Stadium.


Times, opponents, and national broadcast information for these games will be included in the entire regular season schedule, which will be announced upon its completion in the coming weeks. Each club will play 34 games in the 2012 MLS Regular Season.


San Jose is 5-8-1 all time to start the season and 2-4-1 when hosting their first MLS game.
