SAN JOSE, Calif. – San Jose Earthquakes summer opponent Swansea City has announced its 23-man travel roster, along with their schedule for their stay in San Jose. The two teams will meet on Tuesday, July 31 at Buck Shaw Stadium at 7:30 p.m. PT as part of the English Premier League side’s 12-day U.S. tour.

Among the travel party are recent signings Jonathan de Guzman, Chico and Michu. De Guzman, younger brother of FC Dallas midfielder Julian de Guzman, joins the Swans on loan from La Liga side Villareal. Chico, a Spanish defender, transferred to Swansea from Italy’s Genoa, although he spent the 2011-2012 season on loan in La Liga with Mallorca. Michu rounds out the new faces on Swansea’s squad after transferring from La Liga’s Rayo Vallecano. Michu led Rayo in scoring with 15 goals during the 2011-2012 season.

Swansea’s travel roster also includes the Swans’ 2011-12 leading scorer Danny Graham. Graham scored 12 goals in his debut season with the Swans. Among the other notables are goalkeeper Michel Vorm and defender Ashley Williams. Vorm represented the Netherlands in the 2010 World Cup and recorded the third-most saves in the EPL during the 2011-12 campaign. Williams led Swansea City field players in minutes played last season and helped anchor a Swans defense that beat Arsenal and Liverpool last season. Williams has also won 33 caps with the Welsh national team.

Swansea City lost 2-1 to the Colorado Rapids on July 24 and is currently training in Ventura, Calif. The team arrives in San Jose pm Monday, July 30. All media availability will take place at the match on Tuesday night. Swansea City train on Wednesday, Aug. 1 at the Earthquakes Training Facility at 10:30 a.m. PT.
