Kendall McIntosh preserves shutout for U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team

Former Earthquakes' Academy Goalkeeper, Kendall McIntosh, helped the U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team secure a 2-1-0 record in the Marbella Cup held in Spain. The U.S. beat Scotland 2-0, Azerbaijan 3-2, and lost to Canada 2-1. McIntosh started all three games for the U.S. The former under-17 residency player and Sonoma, CA native was one of six non-professional players on the team.


Jose Villareal scored two first half goals for the U.S. against Scotland, Mario Rodriguez scored the lone goal for the U.S. against Canada in the 75th minute, and Daniel Cuevas, Mario Rodriguez, and Benji Joya all recorded goals in the victory against Azerbaijan.


Kendall McIntosh is currently in his first year as a member of the Santa Clara University Men's Soccer team.
