Quakes Academy players compete internationally

One Quakes Academy player and one former Quakes Academy player have been competing for the Red, White and Blue this past week. 


JT Marcinkowski, a current Academy goalkeeper from Alamo, Calif., is with the U.S. U-17 men's national team competing in the Caspian Cup in Azerbaijan. The team opened the tournament in a dominating 11-0 win against Kyrgyzstan. Marcinkowski and the U.S. next face host Azerbaijan on Saturday. 


Travel to the coast of France, and former Quakes Academy player and current Santa Clara University goalkeeper, Kendall McIntosh, started for the U-20 USMNT last night in their second match of the Toulon Tournament. After a well-fought battle, the U.S. ended up falling to Columbia 2-1. The Toulon Tournament is the last chance for the team to play together before they head to the U-20 World Cup in Turkey later this summer.
