Saturday's California Clasico is a matchup between Major League Soccer's fiercest rivals- but there's more to it than just soccer. Here's your #CaliClasico checklist of things, other than soccer, you don't want to miss out on at Stanford Stadium:
1. The Epicenter:
This ultimate fan hangout spot will be open from 4 - 6:45 p.m. Come here for fun for the whole family - live music from Melted State, face painting, poster making and special booths from our sponsors including a StateFarm photo booth where fans can dress up with scarves, Quakes gear, body paint and more and the Benjamin Moore Paint By Number booth. Come help paint a large mural with other fans!
2. Food Trucks:
Bring your appetite. We'll have food trucks from Gold Rush Eatery, Bacon Bacon, Rice Rockit, Lalos Tacos, Speedy Panini and Twisted Chili
3. Pre-game:
Arrive to your seat early because we have a special pre-game in store for you. We're not one to give away any secrets but flyovers and skydivers may be in the mix...
4. Halftime Show:
Stay in your seat, folks. Our Salute to Armed forces show is one that you won't want to miss.
5. Post-game fireworks:
We're not kidding when we say we have the largest fireworks display this state has ever seen. Figure out your post-game fireworks plan.
