Colorado Rapids Scouting Report
The Colorado Rapids (13-9-9, 48 pts.) enter the week fifth in the Western Conference after a key 5-1 win against Seattle Sounders FC over the weekend. Rookie Deshorn Brown scored twice while Dillon Powers, Drew Moor and Gabriel Torres capped the scoring in the largest offensive output for the Rapids since Sept. 27, 2008 when they topped the New York Red Bulls, 5-4. Brown leads the squad with nine goals on the season while defender Chris Klute tops the assist list with seven. The Rapids can clinch a spot on the MLS Cup Playoffs by winning two of their last three games. After Wednesday’s match at Buck Shaw Stadium, Colorado hosts Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday, Oct. 19 and then closes its season in Vancouver on Sunday, Oct. 27.

Forward Chris Wondolowski has seven goals and one assist in 14 games. Forward Alan Gordon has five goals and two assists in 18 games. Defender Ramiro Corrales has five assists in 34 games.
