It's time to wrap up the 2014 preseason. The Earthquakes face newly-minted USL-PRO affiliate Sacramento Republic FC in an exhibition match tonight in Turlock. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. PT at CSU Stanislaus' Warrior Field.
Coming off of a solid preseason trip to Portland where they went 2-1-0 in the Rose City Invitational, the Earthquakes are ready for one final tune-up match before the regular MLS season and CONCACAF Champions League play begins.
For Sacramento Republic FC, tonight's match will mark the first time the club will take the field together against an opponent. Lead by head coach Preki - an illustrious ex-MLS midfielder, USMNT international and past MLS head coach - Sacramento Republic FC will debut in the USL-PRO this season. The team travels to LA Galaxy II for their inaugural match on March 29.
Tonight's exhibition will not be available to watch online; however, tickets are still available through the City of Turlock's Recreation office at 144 S. Broadway from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. PT. Tickets will also be on sale at the game for $25.
