SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes announced a new partnership with Groupmatics to enhance the team’s sales efforts. The Earthquakes are the first club in Major League Soccer to partner with the innovative sales leader.

“Partnering with Groupmatics makes perfect sense as we transition to our new stadium next year,” said President Dave Kaval. “The Groupmatics web-based platform is ideal for improving our group ticket area, while also enhancing the buying experience for fans.”

As a SaaS (software-as-a-service) web-based platform, Groupmatics helps improve the user experience for fans, while also adding value to sports teams and entertainment venues. With Groupmatics, group leaders for Earthquakes games will now be able to utilize Internet-based ticket transactions.

“We are extremely excited to partner with the Earthquakes,” Groupmatics founder Matt Mastrangelo said.  “We believe our software aligns with their innovative group sales efforts and will result in a significant increase in attendance.”
