On Tuesday, Earthquakes player Yannick Djalo and Chicago Fire player and San Jose native Benji Joya made an appearance at Cristo Rey High School in San Jose.
The players spoke about Fresh Carts, which are mobile vendors that will be coming to San Jose. Fresh Carts is designed to bring affordable healthy food to low-income neighborhoods. Yannick and Benji showed off their skills ahead of Wednesday's Quakes vs. Chicago Fire and talked about how Fresh Carts provides a fun, fast, and fresh way to get your fruit and veggies.
