Lenhart undergoes successful arthroscopic knee surgery

SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that forward Steven Lenhart underwent successful surgery on his right knee on Friday, Aug. 1. The arthroscopic surgery was performed at Stanford Hospital & Clinics by Dr. Zack Vaughn. Lenhart is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.


Lenhart has appeared in 10 games this season and scored his first goal of the season against the New York Red Bulls on July 19. He also scored the Quakes lone goal in their Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup match against Seattle Sounders FC on June 24. He has scored 20 goals in his career with the Earthquakes.
