Cordell Cato, Sanna Nyassi Called to International Duty

SAN JOSE, Calif. –
The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that midfielders Cordell Cato and Sanna Nyassi were each called up to their respective national teams. Cato will represent Trinidad and Tobago in their match against Jordan on June 16 and Nyassi will represent The Gambia in their African Cup of Nations qualifier vs. South Africa on June 12.
Cato, 22, has three caps for the Trinidad and Tobago National Team. A four-year veteran of Major League Soccer, Cato has appeared in 59 matches (32 starts) and tallied four goals and four assists since joining San Jose in 2013. 
Nyassi, 25, has appeared in nine games for The Gambia, tallying one goal. He has appeared in 141 games (84 starts) and recorded 17 goals and 14 assists during his time in MLS since debuting in 2009.
