Eric De La Cerda

De La Cerda Grew up in the city of Gilroy starting his playing Career at the age of 3. In 2012 DLC would then join the San Jose Earthquakes Academy where he’d continue to progress through the Academy for ten years until now in our Quakes II team. In 2015 DLC would then be called up to U.S Soccer Youth National Team Futures Camp and the following year he’d be invited to MLS Adidas ESP. Continuing his path through the Quakes academy system, in 2020 DLC joined Reno 1868 FC in the USL Championship where he showed excellent performances and was named to USL Team of the week. DLC will be playing as a professional player in the organization's Quakes 2 team playing in MLS Next Pro while serving as a goalkeeper coach for the U13/U14 age groups in the Academy. 

DLC began his coaching career in 2018 with local grassroots clubs in San Jose. From 2018 to 2022 DLC has been working as a Head Goalkeeper coach, Director of Goalkeeping, and working with many talented goalkeepers and will now continue his coaching journey with the Quakes Academy.
