It can be difficult to know when air quality may affect athletes who play sports outside frequently. Air quality is measured by the National Weather Service Air Quality Index (AQI). During wildfires, it's especially important to monitor air quality and follow these guidelines for outdoor activity.

Soccer Safety Tips

Soccer is great exercise for young athletes, and it can help kids learn about teamwork and fair play. But it’s a fast-paced contact sport that can sometimes lead to injuries. Common soccer injuries include sprained ankles, knee injuries (such as ACL tears), pulled hamstrings and concussions. Use the following tips to help keep “the beautiful game” safe and fun.
