SAN JOSE, Calif. – Earthquakes II drew to North Texas SC 0-0 in regulation and won 5-3 in a penalty shootout on Friday evening at PayPal Park in San Jose, Calif. Both sides drew scoreless through 90 minutes to force a penalty shootout, where Earthquakes II made all five from the spot to grab the extra point. Goalkeeper Eric De La Cerda stopped North Texas’ second attempt, while midfielder Cam Cilley sealed the victory with a low right shot past goalkeeper Julian Eyestone.  

Earthquakes II will now prepare face Austin FC II on the road on Friday, May 19. The match will kick off from Parmer Field in Austin, Texas at 6 p.m. PT and will be broadcast on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app.
