ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Earthquakes II defeated St. Louis CITY2 2-0 in the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro Western Conference Quarterfinals on Sunday afternoon at CITYPARK in St. Louis, Mo. Will Richmond opened the scoring for Quakes II in the 63rd minute off an Ousseni Bouda cross. Twenty-four minutes later, Bouda fired a shot into the upper right corner of the net to double Earthquakes II’s lead. Goalkeeper Emi Ochoa earned a clean sheet after recording four saves throughout the match.

Earthquakes II have now advanced to the Western Conference Semifinals of the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs. Both Western Conference Semifinal matchups will be announced on Tuesday, Oct. 3 with matches set to take place the weekend of Oct. 6. All playoff matches will be streamed globally on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app.
