VANCOUVER, B.C. – Earthquakes II defeated Whitecaps FC 2 5-2 on Saturday afternoon at National Soccer Development Centre in Vancouver, B.C. Keegan Tingey opened the scoring with a header in the tenth minute from an Eduardo Blancas corner kick. Whitecaps FC 2 equalized shortly after in the 16th minute, but Quakes II took the lead again in the 35th when Eduardo Blancas put away a deflected save. Quakes II extended their lead in the second half with goals from Ousseni Bouda, Alex Chow, and Eduardo Blancas. Whitecaps FC 2 pulled a goal back in the 86th minute to end the match 5-2.

Earthquakes II will now prepare to face LAFC2 in their final match of the MLS NEXT Pro regular season on Sunday, September 24. The match will kick off from PayPal Park in San Jose, Calif. at 2 p.m. PT and will be streamed live on MLSNEXTPro.com.
