MATCH RECAP: Earthquakes II 3, LA Galaxy II 0

SAN JOSE, Calif. – Earthquakes II opened their 2023 MLS NEXT Pro season with a 3-0 victory over LA Galaxy II on Sunday evening at PayPal Park. Homegrown forward Will Richmond tallied one goal and two assists in the victory.

Quakes II opened the scoring in the 26th minute through Ousseni Bouda and doubled their lead five minutes later with a goal from Will Richmond. The home side maintained the 2-0 lead up until the 83rd minute when Martin Kwende Jr. scored the third goal of the night.

Quakes II will now prepare for their first road match of the season against Timbers2 on Sunday, April 2. The match will kick off from Providence Park at 5 p.m. PT and will be streamed live on MLSNEXTPro.com
