HILLSBORO, Por. – Earthquakes II defeated Timbers2 2-0 on Wednesday night at Hillsboro Stadium in Hillsboro, Ore. Eduardo Blancas and Nathan Scott each scored a goal for Quakes II, while goalkeeper Emi Ochoa secured his first shutout of the season. The match marked Quakes II’s first-ever game in the inaugural MLS NEXT Pro season.
Earthquakes II will now return to San Jose to prepare for their next road match against Houston Dynamo 2 on Sunday, April 3 at AVEVA Stadium in Houston, Texas. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m. PT and the match will be broadcast live on MLSNEXTPro.com.
