ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Earthquakes II earned two points following a 1-1 draw and penalty shootout victory against St Louis CITY2 on Sunday evening at Hermann Stadium in St. Louis, Mo.

After a scoreless first half, St Louis CITY2 took the lead in the first minute of the second half through Vitor Dias. Earthquakes II would pull even just two minutes later when Rudy Castro scored a direct free kick. Castro has now scored in each of the last three games for Quakes II.

Seventeen-year-old goalkeeper Emi Ochoa, who was recently called to the United States U-19 National Team, made six saves for Quakes II.

Quakes II will now return to San Jose to prepare for their next road match against the Tacoma Defiance on Saturday, June 4. Kickoff from Cheney Stadium is scheduled for 7 p.m. PT and the match will be broadcast live on MLSNEXTPro.com.
