Two teams that saw impressive streaks come to an end over the weekend meet in a midweek interconference tilt as the San Jose Earthquakes host the Columbus Crew. The Quakes recorded four consecutive shutouts before falling 3-1 to Toronto FC at home on Saturday while the Crew were unbeaten in the first 10 games of 2010 before dropping a 2-0 home decision to the L.A. Galaxy.
The Quakes are in a three-way for second place in the Western Conference with 16 points from nine games. The Crew still lead the Eastern Conference with 20 points from 9 matches.
