Last Game
Colorado Rapids 1, Earthquakes 0; August 7, 2010; Dick’s Sporting Goods Park; Commerce City, Colorado
The San Jose Earthquakes dropped their game Saturday night at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park to the Colorado Rapids 1-0. The lone goal of the match came when Omar Cummings sent a cross inside of the six yard box. The ball moved a bit on goalkeeper Jon Busch and skipped in off of his hands in the 26th minute, which was enough for the home side, as they held on for the three points. San Jose had some chances, but were unable to equalize.

Last Game vs. Kansas City Wizards
Earthquakes 1, Kansas City Wizards 0; August 22, 2009; Buck Shaw Stadium; Santa Clara, California
Chris Wondolowski's goal in second-half stoppage time gave the San Jose Earthquakes a 1-0 victory against the Wizards. There had been chances aplenty, but some sharp goalkeeping from San Jose's Joe Cannon and Kansas City's Kevin Hartman, combined with some wasteful finishing, made it look like a scoreless tie was in the offing. But with time winding down, Wondolowski's glancing header from a Ramiro Corrales cross snuck inside the far post, giving the Quakes a dramatic victory.
