The San Jose Earthquakes and Houston Dynamo will renew their rivalry on Saturday evening at Buck Shaw Stadium. The Earthquakes have clinched a playoff spot for the first time since rejoining the league, after their 2-0 win at D.C. United last weekend. The Dynamo, who had reached the MLS Cup Playoffs each season since coming into the league following a move from San Jose, will not finish in the top eight this year, coming off a 2-1 home loss to New England.
