The Earthquakes are currently holding onto a spot in the top eight, with the Fire now 12 points out of the final playoff spot. The Quakes are coming off an impressive 3-2 win at Toronto FC, while Chicago’s winless run hit seven games in a third consecutive 1-0 loss last weekend, home to Seattle.
