If there's one rivalry in California that resonates with fans, it's NorCal vs. SoCal.

However, the California Clásico is more than just geography. It's Dwayne De Rosario's overtime goal to defeat the Galaxy in the 2001 MLS Cup; the epic five unanswered goals scored by San Jose to advance past LA in 2003; the knockout punch thrown by a Donovan-led Galaxy in the 2005 playoffs, San Jose's final game before relocating to Houston.

San Jose's 1-0 win against Los Angeles at Buck Shaw Stadium was more than just another three points to Quakes fans. It meant the return of an historic rivalry - and glory be to the San Jose faithful.
