Do you have the heart of an Ultra?
The 1906 Ultras, a San Jose Earthquakes supporters group, are looking for fans who answered, "Yes," to that question for a road trip to Los Angeles for the club's match against the Galaxy on May 23 at the Home Depot Center. The Ultras are looking for fans who are willing to stand and sing for 90-plus minutes as the Earthquakes aim to upend their Southern California rivals in the California Clasico. The bus will depart Wednesday morning on May 23 and return the next day.
While seats on the bus are sold out, the Ultras are renting 15 passenger vans to join the caravan. Fans can join the trip for $20 + gas money per seat. Fans are expected to pay for their own lodging for one night, but the vans will provide transportation to a hotel close to the stadium. Fans who plan to attend the match, but do not wish to travel in the caravan, and would like to stand with the Ultras can purchase tickets through the group.
The Ultras offer financial aid to those dedicated Quakes fans who want to make the trip, but can't afford it.
