The San Jose Earthquakes have named Connor Dawson the Odwalla Player of the Month for June.
Dawson plays U-10s for the Santa Cruz County Breakers 01B White coached by Raul Olvera. He lines up as a left back or forward and has notched 16 goals and 16 assists so far in 2011-12 matches. Dawson has helped his club to a 9-4-3 record in the top CYSA division. In 2011, SCC Breakers 01B White was second in the Fall Distric Cup for CYSA and they took top honors in the Juventus Coppa d'Oro.
Outside of the field, Dawson is a 4.0 student. He won a blue ribbon in the Santa Cruz County Science Fair and took fourth place in the ACSI Math Contest in 2011 and earned an Excellence Award at the ACSI Speech Meet in 2011 and 2012.
