The Quakes will start their 2013 season with three preseason trips: Tucson, Oxnard, and Portland.
San Jose will return to Tucson for the second-consecutive year to play Eastern Conference opponents New England Revolution and the Houston Dynamo. After their stay in Arizona, the Quakes will head to southern California to play the Chicago Fire and the Ventura County Fusion (PDL) in Oxnard from Feb. 6-10. Portland will be the final stop for San Jose. The Quakes will face the Portland Timbers, AIK (Sweden), and FC Dallas in the City of Roses from Feb 17-23.
The three preseason trips will allow coaches to evaluate talent and build team chemistry ahead of a challenging 2013 season that will also include the 2013/14 CONCACAF Champions League.
