Recap: Quakes, AIK draw 0-0 in Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. – The San Jose Earthquakes drew 0-0 with AIK (Sweden) in their second game of the Portland Preseason Tournament at JELD-WEN Field Wednesday night.

David Bingham recorded the clean sheet for San Jose in goal. The second-year keeper made four saves on the night.

The Earthquakes’ best two looks at goal came from non-roster invitee John Bostock in the first half. Bostock had another look in the 36th minute, firing with his left foot from the top of the box to force another diving save from Stamatopoulos.

San Jose held most of the possession in the second half while playing a man up after AIK’s Ibrahim Moro was sent off with a red card, but couldn’t find the net.
