Revenge for the USMNT? Watch #USAvHON tonight at 6 p.m. PT

Tonight’s U.S. vs. Honduras World Cup Qualifier is a must-watch for fans of both nations.  The U.S. has the upper hand in this one as they sit pretty in first place in the CONCACAF Hex. They’re on a bit of a hot streak, having won their previous three matches. The U.S. will also have a coveted home field advantage and are expecting a packed crowd at Rio Tinto Stadium in Salt Lake City.

Honduras sits in fourth place in the Hex and are missing key players due to injury.  Regardless, the Catarachos are not to be ruled out- the last time the two sides met, Honduras handed the U.S. an ugly 2-1 loss in February. Honduras is also the last nation to beat the U.S. at home- defeating them 3-2 back in September of 2001.

Honduras features two Quakes players, midfielder Marvin Chavez and defender Victor Bernardez. Look for Chaves to clock some minutes for Los Catarachos but Bernardez will be sitting this one out due to yellow card accumulation.

Kickoff is at 6 p.m. PT.  Catch the game on ESPN or UniMas or head to one of the Quakes Preferred Pub Sponsors
